Does Centi need an internet connection?

No. Recording, transcription, notes, flashcards and quizzes all run on your iPhone. You only need a connection to buy Pro or to sync through iCloud.

Which iPhones can make AI notes?

Notes written by Apple Intelligence need an iPhone that supports it. On other iPhones, Centi uses its offline engine, which picks out definitions, key sentences and sections straight from the transcript. It never paraphrases, so it never invents anything.

What if my phone dies in the middle of class?

Centi writes audio to storage every few seconds, in pieces that stay readable even if the app stops. The next time you open it, the lecture is finished up and sent off to be transcribed.

Am I allowed to record my lectures?

It depends on your school and country. Check your course policy, and ask your professor if you're unsure. Centi reminds you before your first recording.

What happens when the free trial ends?

We send a reminder two days before your trial converts. If you cancel, you keep every note, card and quiz you already made, and recording stays free.
